Design Fare is a corner of the Internet devoted to the love of good design and good food. The blog is centered around the idea that the things you live with and consume should be well designed and thoughtfully chosen; I believe that surrounding yourself with objects that are beautiful, functional, and meaningful contributes to a happy and healthy life.
Annie is a website editor living in New York City with her husband, Matt, and basil plant, Tiberio. Having managed and edited blogs professionally for years, she decided in May 2015 that it was time to start a blog of her own as a way to explore the things she loves and share them with other people. Thus, Design Fare was born.
Annie holds a master’s degree in art history, with a concentration in the history of architecture, and a bachelor’s degree in English. In college, she developed an interest in the Bauhaus and in modern architecture, and after graduation, when she realized she’d now be responsible for feeding herself, she developed an interest in cooking and serving good food.
Annie is the product of an artist dad and a formidable-home-cook mom, so in many ways, this blog was foretold from the beginning, but she’s very excited to get it off the ground and share it with you all.
